Bouldering is low-level climbing without ropes on 'boulder problems' set by National-level route setters.
Safety matting protects climbers on falling.
Climbers aim to 'Top' as many problems in as few attempts as possible.
The OPENS competition runs entirely on Saturday.
There will also be a bouldering competition for Youth C (U14) and D (U12) on Sunday morning.
Entry fee options for this competition are $55 (Early Bird one category), $65 (regular fee one category), $70 (Early Bird two categories), $80 (regular fee two categories), $20 (Youth C/D comp).
Registrations close midnight Thursday 20th September. Early Bird registration price ends midnight Thursday 13th September 2018. Late registrations and those taken on competitions day will incur an additional $20 late fee.
Qualifiers – OPEN M/F / Youth B / Youth A / Juniors / Masters
There is one qualifying round (4 problems) per category.
Each competitor has 5 mins to make as many attempts as possible to reach the top of the problem.

Competitors may not receive any information about the climbs during this resting time.

The top 6 climbers in each category go through to Finals (3 problems).
Cycle through problems in pairs (Male/Female).
Climbers alternating isolation zones between cycles.
Each cycle is 4 mins per problem.
Climbers' attempts end when their 4 mins are up.
