How to I get on to the Youth World Championships Team

Each year Climbing New Zealand organises a team to attend the World Youth Championships.
The criteria is similar each year, the 2009 Criteria can be viewed here
In general you can expect subsequent years to follow a very similar criteria. So if you are new to the sport it is important to give yourself two opportunities for selection, 1. at the Oceania Championships and 2. at the first National Cup event for the year.

What happened to the New Zealand Sportclimbing Federation (NZSF)

Climbing New Zealand is the new name of the NZSF or New Zealand Sportclimbing Federation.
The new name was adopted at the end of the 2008 season, along with a new consitution for the organisation.
We hope the new name will signal a new era for competition climbing in New Zealand.
