National Cup Series

The National Cup is a series of four events across the country, held every year. Each competitor is allocated points based on the placings in the individual events. Their top three scores are totaled to give a series score, with the highest score winning the National Cup Series. In 2009 the National Cup rounds that have been confirmed to date are as follows:

16/17 May 2009 - The Rockhouse, Mount Maunganui
20/21 June 2009 - HangDog, Lower Hutt
17/18 July 2009 - The Wall, Rotorua 
8/9 August 2009 - Extreme Edge, Auckland

National Championships

Climbing New Zealand also hosts the National Championships every year. This is a one off event to decide who is the National Champion for that year. In 2009, the National Championships are being held at The Roxx Climbing Centre, Christchurch over the weekend of 19/20 September.
