Hosted by the Flying Geckos Climbing Club and The Roxx Climbing Centre, This competition is the first of four events events that make up the Climbing New Zealand National Cup series.  

The National Cup series is open to all climbers, in all age groups from Under 12 to Open and Masters.  The full rules the event and series are run under can be downloaded here.

Judges Course
Climbing NZ is also running a Judges Course on the Friday evening prior to the event, to allow interested Parents and other persons learn how to judge at competitions.  Judging is one of the easiest way to assist in the running of the event, and the more trained judges we have the more it can be shared around.  The course will run from 6pm to 8pm.  Please indicate your attendance by emailing here.   The IFSC lite rules can be downloaded here. Please review these rules, and the NZ specific rules above before attending.

Voting for the Athletes representative on the Management Committee will take place during the competition, the result of this vote will be announced during the prize-giving.

Prizegiving will follow the conclusion of the Speed Finals

Please note that in accordance with the rules, all place getters must be present at the prize-giving. This will enforced throughout 2010.
